Hello 4GoodVibers! As you may know the last few months 4GoodVibes has been dealing with some changes. We had to close our Somerville location abruptly after 7+ years of being there. We moved out in less than 20 days. This move has been hard mentally & financially as it was completely unplanned. This was our first location & we hold it very close to our hearts.
For the past two months we have been working hard to find a new location for 4GoodVibes and relocating some artists as well. We were really hoping to expand in Medford but at this time the current spaces available are not the correct fit. In the meantime we have narrowed down some amazing locations in Middlesex County. We have taken some polls on locations people would like to see us & we found one that’s in the middle of some of the towns that got the biggest responses!
Expanding & opening a new location has a lot of upfront financial cost & we want to put the work into the location to make it beautiful for both the customers to shop in & artists to sell their inventory! Unfortunately with the economy we live in & how much we spent on the Somerville closure we really need your help! At this time the location won’t be disclosed as we are still finalizing things but either way we have back up plans (as always)
We came up with crowdfunding as a great way to hopefully hit our goal & create a beautiful new 4GoodVibes location in the Middlesex county area. If you haven’t heard of crowdfunding, it’s similar to gofundme BUT it’s a reward based program so if you donate you will receive a gift in return. Gifts will be shipped out or available for pick up at 4GoodVibes Mid-August. All of the gifts will be locally-made & benefit local vendors so they will need time to create a volume of exclusive items for your donation! If you have a donation to spare for a local small business that benefits hundreds of local artisans and a place for them to sell, we would be extremely appreciative and so would the vendors. If you are in a tight spot please do not donate, you can help support by sharing this post or inviting friends to 4GoodVibes social media pages!
